I’ve found my home in books for years.

When I didn’t know who I was or what I wanted from my life, I turned to books. The stories and characters I met in the words I read allowed me to envision the person I wanted to grow to be.

Stories have the power to change the world—they sure changed mine! And because of that, I want nothing more than to help you with your story—the narrative that runs deep within you and is asking to be shared with others.

I’m an Ohio girl.

I was born and raised here before going to The Ohio State University to receive a bachelors in Honors English and a minor in business writing. Now, I’ve two sweet babes with my husband and am still living in the heart of the midwest.

No matter how trendy “cozy” gets, it’s still one of my favorite words and the epitome of what I aim for. To me, that means . . . leggings, something warm to drink, all the blankets, fresh air, and snacks—always snacks.

Revision is my passion.

I can’t help but correct grammar and sentence structure while questioning the placement of paragraphs whether I’m deep in a client’s manuscript, reading a published novel, or browsing content on Instagram. I’ve got an eye for editing that makes it impossible to ignore weaknesses in what I read. But it’s not because I’m judging the content. Nope, it’s because I truly want to make it better—I want it to be the best it can be!

And honestly, that takes an outside eye. You can be a grammar nerd yourself (or the total opposite) and still need someone else to take a look at your words. My goal is to make your book as impactful and successful as possible, and that means it needs to be edited.

Connection

I see you. I know the work you’ve put in. I understand that you’ve spent hours with your manuscript, and it’s really tough to pass it off. Your book is a BIG deal. And don’t worry—you’re not handing it off to just anybody. You’re giving it to a friend—someone who wants it to succeed just as much as you do!

Encouragement

What you’ve done and are doing is HARD. I get that! So when you work with me, you gain a cheerleader for your writing. Feeling stuck? I got you. Feeling excited? I’m just as pumped! From now on, you can trust that I’ve got your back and can count on me to be your writing’s number one fangirl.

Honesty

You don’t need to be afraid to receive feedback from me. Will I be honest with you? Yes. Will that include sharing areas of weakness? Yep. But is that it? No way! You’re more than the areas you need to grow in. There’s so much you’re doing REALLY well. And I want to share that with you as well!
